Thymo is an app developed by S.C. LIFESTYLE MOSAIC STUDIOS S.R.L., with registered address at str. Hărmanului, nr. 44, bl. 3, sc. D, ap. 8, Brașov, Romania, that offers its customers an guided process to write their biography.
These terms of service (the “Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between the end-user of the Services (“You”) and S.C. LIFESTYLE MOSAIC STUDIOS S.R.L. governing your online and offline use of the software and collection of services offered on our website (the “Site”) and in our apps and their updates, as well as related services (collectively “Services”), and affecting your legal rights (the “Agreement”).
Please read these Terms and our Privacy Policy as well as other terms referenced in this document carefully as you must agree to (and comply with) them, accept them and agree to be bound by them before you may use the Site.
Installing, accessing, or using any part of the services indicates that you agree to be bound by all of the terms and conditions in the terms, as well as all other rules, policies and procedures relating to our services that we may publish from time to time and all agreements defined in the section third-party services.
Digital environment and laws governing it change frequently, thus we reserve the right to make changes to these Terms at any time. When we do so, we’ll provide you with prominent notice by displaying it on the Site. Your continued access or use of the Site in any manner constitutes assent to any existing and new Terms that may be posted on the Site.
The Thymo app is offered and controlled from its facilities in Romania. If you access or use the Services from other jurisdictions, you do so at your own risk. We make no representations that the Services are appropriate or available for use in other locations. You are responsible for knowing and complying with applicable laws of your jurisdiction. If such laws conflict with your use of the Services, you are not permitted to use them.
These Terms do not entitle You to receive, and do not obligate S.C. LIFESTYLE MOSAIC STUDIOS S.R.L. to provide hard copy documentation, support, telephone assistance or enhancements or updates to the Services.
ELIGIBILITY
The app can be downloaded free of charge. Any person who uses the Services represents to Us that they are at least 18 years of age, or if under 18 years of age they are either an emancipated minor, or possess the legal consent of a parent or legal guardian, and are fully able and competent to enter into the terms, conditions, obligations, affirmations, representations, and warranties set forth in this Terms, and to abide by and comply with this Terms.
Whenever this feature is offered by Us, You may register with your email account or by sign in with Apple or Google, allowing us to keep you updated on any novelties regarding our Services. If you do so, you represent that all registration information is truthful and accurate, and you agree to maintain the accuracy of such information.
CONTENT, LICENSE & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
1. Content Provided Through the Services
All materials made available through Thymo, including text, design elements, features, and the App itself (“Content”), are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
We retain all rights to the App and its underlying technology.
2. User-Generated Content
While using Thymo, you may generate your own text, stories, and personal materials (“User Content”).
Ownership
You always retain full ownership of your User Content.
We do not claim ownership over any biography text, memories, or personal information you create within the App.
3. License You Grant Us
To operate and provide the Services, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, worldwide license to:
- store your User Content
- process it to generate chapters and previews
- display it back to you in the App
- generate your PDF export
- back up data for reliability
This license exists solely so that the App can function.
We do not:
- use your content for advertising
- publish, distribute, or sell your content
- share your content with third parties
- use your name, likeness, or voice for promotion
Your biography remains private unless you choose to share it.
4. Responsibility for User Content
You are responsible for the content you create within Thymo.
We do not review or moderate your personal biography unless required by law.
We take no responsibility for:
- the accuracy of User Content
- any loss or damage resulting from your own decision to share or export your biography
- the content you voluntarily distribute outside the App
5. Prohibited User Content
You agree not to upload or generate:
- unlawful, threatening, or defamatory content
- hate speech or discriminatory content
- content violating another person’s rights (e.g., copyrighted material)
- harmful code or attempts to misuse the Service
- We may remove or disable access to content if required by law or if it violates these Terms.
LICENSE – YOUR RIGHTS AND RESTRICTIONS
1. Your License to Use Thymo
Subject to your full compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
- install and use the Thymo app on your personal devices
- access and use the Services for your own personal, non-commercial purposes
- create, edit, and view your personal biography content within the App
This License exists solely to allow you to use and enjoy Thymo as intended.
Thymo is licensed to you—not sold.
We retain all rights, title, and interest in the App and all associated Content.
2. Restrictions on Use
You agree not to:
a. Use the Services for any commercial purpose
This includes selling, licensing, distributing, publishing, or otherwise using the App or any part of it for financial gain.
b. Copy or distribute the App or its software
You may not reproduce, modify, translate, distribute, or create derivative works from the App or any part of it, except for your own personal biography content, which you own.
c. Reverse engineer or tamper with the App
You may not:
- reverse engineer
- decompile
- disassemble
- attempt to derive source code
- circumvent any security or technical protection
unless permitted by law.
d. Interfere with or disrupt the Services
This includes:
- imposing an unreasonable load on our infrastructure
- attempting to bypass any access restrictions
- artificially creating accounts or simulating traffic
- using scripts, bots, or automated systems to interact with the App
e. Use the Services for harmful or unlawful purposes
You may not:
- upload or share harmful code, viruses, or malware
- attempt unauthorized access to any data, account, or network
- use the App to harass, threaten, defame, or violate others’ rights
- use the App in a fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive way
- encourage conduct that is illegal or creates civil liability
f. Resell or transfer your access
You may not:
- resell your subscription
- rent, lease, sublicense, or transfer your account
- share your login credentials with others
- Your account is personal.
3. Your Rights Over Your Content
This License section does not affect your rights over your personal biography content.
You retain full ownership of your User Content.
We do not use, publish, sell, or distribute your content.
Our use of your content is strictly limited to storing, processing, and displaying it so the App can function.
4. Violations of This License
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Thymo if you:
- violate these Terms
- misuse the App
- attempt to harm the App or its users
- engage in fraud or unlawful activity
In such cases, we may disable your account without notice.
OUR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Except where expressly stated otherwise, these Terms do not grant you any rights or licenses regarding our trademarks, logos, domain names, designs, branding elements, source code, proprietary software, or any other intellectual property associated with Thymo.
All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by S.C. LIFESTYLE MOSAIC STUDIOS S.R.L..
You may not use our brand features, trademarks, or copyrighted materials for commercial or non-commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS POLICY
We respect intellectual property rights and expect our users to do the same.
For the purposes of these Terms, “Intellectual Property Rights” include copyright, trademarks, service marks, trade dress, trade names, logos, domain names, patents, trade secrets, proprietary software code, and all related rights recognized under the laws of any jurisdiction.
If you believe that any content available through Thymo infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us at support@thymo.app

- your contact information
- a description of the alleged infringement
- proof of ownership or authorization
- the location of the infringing content
We will investigate the claim and take appropriate action.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Thymo may integrate with third-party applications and services (“Third-Party Services”) such as:
- Apple Sign-In
- Google Sign-In
- Cloud storage providers
Payment processors
These services may have their own terms and privacy policies. Your use of such Third-Party Services is governed by their respective agreements, not ours.
You acknowledge that S.C. LIFESTYLE MOSAIC STUDIOS S.R.L. is not responsible for:
- the content, actions, or policies of Third-Party Services
- any transactions or interactions you may have with them
- any issues resulting from your use of third-party products or services.
If you have downloaded the Thymo app from the Apple, Inc. (“Apple”) App Store or if you are using the app on an iOS device, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following notice regarding Apple. This Agreement is between you and S.C. LIFESTYLE MOSAIC STUDIOS S.R.L. only, not with Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the Service and the content thereof. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the Service. In the event of any failure of the Service to conform to any applicable warranty, then you may notify Apple and Apple will refund any applicable purchase price for the app to you; and, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the Service. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the Service or your possession and/or use of the Service, including, but not limited to: (1) product liability claims; (2) any claim that the Service fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (3) claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
Apple is not responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement and discharge of any third-party claim that the Service and/or your possession and use of the app infringe that third party’s intellectual property rights. You agree to comply with any applicable third-party terms, when using the Service. Apple, and Apple’s subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement, and upon your acceptance of this Agreement, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this Agreement against you as a third-party beneficiary of this Agreement. You hereby represent and warrant that (1) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country; and (2) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
GOOGLE PLAY NOTICE
If you downloaded Thymo from the Google Play Store, you acknowledge the following:
These Terms are between you and S.C. LIFESTYLE MOSAIC STUDIOS S.R.L., not Google.
Google is not responsible for the App, its content, or its performance.
Google has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the App.
All purchases, subscriptions, billing, cancellations, and refunds are handled according to Google Play policies.
You agree to comply with Google Play’s Terms of Service when downloading or using the App.
Google and its affiliates are not liable for any claims related to your use of the App, including:
- product liability
- failure of the App to comply with legal or regulatory requirements
- consumer protection claims
- intellectual property infringement claims
ACCESS
You are responsible for providing the equipment, Internet connection, mobile device, and service plan required to access and use Thymo. We do not guarantee that the App will be available in all geographic locations or on all devices.
Your wireless carrier or Internet provider may charge you fees for data usage, messaging, or other access while using the App. Please check with your provider for details. You are solely responsible for any such costs.
Your right to use Thymo is also conditioned on your compliance with any applicable agreements you have with third parties, including your mobile operating system provider, cloud storage provider, or Internet service provider.
AVAILABILITY OF SERVICES
We aim to keep Thymo available and functioning smoothly. However:
The Services may change as we improve or update the App.
Certain features may be added, modified, or removed without prior notice.
Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical issues, or factors beyond our control (e.g., network outages, third-party service failures).
You acknowledge and agree that we are not liable for any unavailability of the Services, interruptions, delays, or loss of data arising from such disruptions.
SUBSCRIPTIONS & PAID ACCESS
Thymo offers both a free tier and paid access.
Free Tier
Users on the free tier can:
- create an account
- add content manually
- use voice input
- save and view their biography
Free access does not include guided questions.
We reserve the right to enhance, modify, or limit the free tier at any time.
Paid Subscriptions
Full access to Thymo’s premium features is provided through:
- weekly subscription
- monthly subscription
- lifetime (one-time) purchase
Subscription terms, pricing, and conditions are displayed in the App Store and Google Play Store.
All payments, renewals, billing, and cancellations are handled directly by:
- Apple (App Store)
- Google (Google Play Store)
We do not process payments ourselves and have no control over the refund policies of Apple or Google.
Auto-Renewal
Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions automatically renew for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
To manage or cancel your subscription:
Apple users: via Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
Google users: via Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
You will retain premium access until the end of your current billing period, even after cancellation.
Refund Policy
Refunds are governed exclusively by the App Store or Google Play Store.
If you believe you are entitled to a refund, you must request it directly from Apple or Google.
Free Trials
Thymo may offer free trials, which grant temporary access to premium features so users can evaluate the App.
If you do not wish to continue with a paid subscription after the trial ends, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the trial expiration through your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
Failure to cancel the trial will result in an automatic subscription charge according to the applicable store’s policies.
Push notifications or reminders may be sent, but they are not guaranteed.
We are not responsible for missed notifications due to device settings, connectivity issues, or user preferences.
By activating a free trial or subscription, you agree to:
- the renewal terms
- the cancellation process described above
- the App Store or Google Play billing policies
PRIVACY
We take user privacy seriously. Any personal data collected through Thymo — including your account information, biography text, and voice transcripts — is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
Your data may be stored and processed using trusted third-party providers such as Google Cloud. When data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, as required by the GDPR and other mandatory legislation.

- how it is used
- where it is stored
- how you can request deletion or account removal
By using Thymo, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to our Privacy Policy.
WARRANTY DISCLAIMERS, EXCLUSIONS, AND LIMITATIONS
We aim to provide a reliable and useful service, but you understand and agree that Thymo is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
We do not guarantee that:
- the App or Services will be uninterrupted or error-free,
- the App will meet your requirements or expectations,
- the App will function correctly on all devices or configurations,
- content stored within the App will be permanently preserved (e.g., in the event of technical failures),
- the App or its servers will be free of malware or harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Use at Your Own Risk
You understand and agree that:
- you use Thymo at your own risk;
- we are not responsible for any loss of data arising from user actions, connectivity issues, device failures, or third-party outages;
- we do not endorse or assume responsibility for any third-party services integrated into the App (e.g., authentication providers, cloud storage, app store billing).
No advice or information obtained from us shall create any warranty unless expressly stated in these Terms.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, S.C. LIFESTYLE MOSAIC STUDIOS S.R.L. and its officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and partners (“Indemnified Parties”) shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages,
- Loss of data, loss of profits, lost revenue, or business interruption,
- Damages arising from your inability to use the App,
- Damages caused by third-party applications, services, or providers,
- Personal injury or property damage related to your use of the App,
even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or Services in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
INDEMNITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless S.C. LIFESTYLE MOSAIC STUDIOS S.R.L., its officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and agents (“Indemnified Parties”) from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from:
- your breach of these Terms;
- your use of the App or Services, including any User Content you create or distribute;
- your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
You agree that any violation of these Terms may cause irreparable harm to Thymo, for which monetary damages may be insufficient. We may seek injunctive or equitable relief without the need to post bond or prove actual damages.
GENERAL
Scope
These Terms govern the relationship between Thymo (operated by S.C. LIFESTYLE MOSAIC STUDIOS S.R.L.) and users of the App and Services.
Interpretation
Section headings are for convenience only and do not limit or alter the meaning of the provisions.
TERM, TERMINATION & SURVIVAL
Term
This Agreement begins when you install, access, or use the App and continues until terminated by you or us.
Termination by You
You may terminate this Agreement at any time by:
- uninstalling the App, and/or
- discontinuing the use of the Services.
Uninstalling the App does not qualify you for a refund of any paid amounts, unless granted by the App Store or Google Play according to their respective refund policies.
Termination by Thymo
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App:
- if required by law,
- if the App becomes commercially or technically unavailable,
- if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms,
- if you engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior.
We will make reasonable efforts to provide notice before termination when practical.
Upon termination, you must cease using the Services and delete all copies of the App.
Termination does not limit our rights or remedies under the law.

SEVERABILITY
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Romania, without giving effect to conflict-of-law principles.
RESOLUTION OF DISPUTES
Except where prohibited by applicable law, any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Services shall be finally settled by arbitration administered by the Brașov Arbitration Centre at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania, in accordance with its rules.
The arbitration shall be conducted in Romanian, in Brașov, Romania, and the costs shall be allocated according to each party’s degree of success.
By agreeing to arbitration, you waive any right to a court trial, including a jury trial, and you waive the right to participate in a class action or representative proceeding.
WAIVER
Our failure to enforce any right under these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that right or any other rights we may have.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and S.C. LIFESTYLE MOSAIC STUDIOS S.R.L. regarding your use of Thymo.
If additional terms apply to certain features, trials, or promotions, those terms will prevail in the event of an irreconcilable conflict.
